Privacy policy
1. Who we are
Two Horizons is run by the founder of Two Horizons, based in the Netherlands. We are the "controller" of your personal data. Questions or requests: info@twohorizons.love.
2. What we collect

Because Two Horizons is a dating service, your profile shows what kind of partner you are looking for. This can say something about your sexual orientation, which is a special category of data under the GDPR. We only process it with your explicit consent, which you give when you create your profile. You can withdraw it at any time by deleting your account.
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Your browser stores a login token and your language choice so the app keeps working.
3. Legal basis
- Contract: to provide your account and the service you signed up for.
- Explicit consent: for using your answers to calculate compatibility, and for the special category data described above.
- Legitimate interest: for moderation, handling reports and preventing scams and abuse.
- Legal obligation: if the law requires us to keep or hand over data.
4. Who can see your data
- Other members see your first name, age, city, country, occupation, languages, "about me", approved photos and compatibility scores, but only members whose preferences match yours and yours theirs. Messages are only visible to you and your match.
- Our moderators see photos waiting for review and the reports members send.
- Service providers that run the service for us: Supabase (database, login and photo storage), Netlify (website hosting and the waitlist form) and Google Fonts (fonts). If you turn on notifications, Apple, Google or Mozilla deliver them to your phone; the notification only contains a first name and a short message such as “sent you a new message”, never the content of your messages. Video calls go directly between the two phones and are never recorded or stored by us. If you tap “Translate” under a message, that message is sent to Google Translate to translate it (on some computers the translation happens on your own device instead). When paid plans open, Stripe will handle payments; we never see your card details.
We never sell your data and never share it with advertisers. Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, for example in the United States. In that case they use the legal safeguards the GDPR requires, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
5. How long we keep it
- Account, profile, photos, likes, matches and messages: until you delete your account.
- Rejected photos are deleted straight away.
- Waitlist details: until launch, or until you ask us to delete them.
- Reports about safety problems may be kept for up to 12 months, so we can protect members from repeat abuse.
6. Your rights
You have the right to see, correct, delete or receive a copy of your data, to object to processing and to withdraw consent. You can do most of this yourself in the app: Profile → View my data, Edit profile and Delete account & all data. For anything else, email info@twohorizons.love. We reply within one month.
You can also complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl). If you live in Thailand, you may also contact the Personal Data Protection Committee (PDPC).
7. Adults only
Two Horizons is only for people aged 18 and over. If we learn that a member is under 18, we delete the account.
8. Security
Connections are encrypted (HTTPS), passwords are never stored in plain text, and only our moderators have admin access. No system is perfect: if a data breach happens that puts you at risk, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
9. Changes
If we change this policy, we update the date at the top. For important changes we let members know in the app or by email.

4. ใครเห็นข้อมูลของคุณได้บ้าง
- สมาชิกคนอื่น เห็นชื่อจริง อายุ เมือง ประเทศ อาชีพ ภาษา ข้อความแนะนำตัว รูปภาพที่อนุมัติแล้ว และคะแนนความเข้ากันได้ของคุณ แต่เฉพาะสมาชิกที่ความต้องการตรงกันทั้งสองฝ่ายเท่านั้น ข้อความในแชทเห็นได้เฉพาะคุณและคู่แมตช์ของคุณ
- ผู้ดูแลของเรา เห็นรูปภาพที่รอตรวจสอบ และรายงานที่สมาชิกส่งมา

เราไม่ขายข้อมูลของคุณ และไม่แบ่งปันกับผู้ลงโฆษณา ผู้ให้บริการบางรายอาจประมวลผลข้อมูลนอกเขตเศรษฐกิจยุโรป เช่น ในสหรัฐอเมริกา ในกรณีนั้นจะมีมาตรการคุ้มครองตามที่กฎหมายกำหนด เช่น ข้อสัญญามาตรฐานของสหภาพยุโรป หรือกรอบความเป็นส่วนตัวของข้อมูลระหว่างสหภาพยุโรปและสหรัฐอเมริกา
5. เราเก็บข้อมูลนานแค่ไหน
- บัญชี โปรไฟล์ รูปภาพ การถูกใจ แมตช์ และข้อความ: จนกว่าคุณจะลบบัญชี
- รูปภาพที่ไม่ผ่านการอนุมัติจะถูกลบทันที
- ข้อมูลในรายชื่อรอ: จนถึงวันเปิดตัว หรือจนกว่าคุณจะขอให้ลบ
- รายงานเกี่ยวกับปัญหาด้านความปลอดภัยอาจเก็บไว้ได้นานถึง 12 เดือน เพื่อป้องกันสมาชิกจากการละเมิดซ้ำ
6. สิทธิ์ของคุณ
คุณมีสิทธิ์ขอดู แก้ไข ลบ หรือขอรับสำเนาข้อมูลของคุณ คัดค้านการประมวลผล และถอนความยินยอม ส่วนใหญ่คุณทำได้เองในแอป: โปรไฟล์ → ดูข้อมูลของฉัน แก้ไขโปรไฟล์ และ ลบบัญชีและข้อมูลทั้งหมด สำหรับเรื่องอื่น ๆ ส่งอีเมลมาที่ info@twohorizons.love เราจะตอบกลับภายในหนึ่งเดือน
คุณยังร้องเรียนต่อหน่วยงานคุ้มครองข้อมูลของเนเธอร์แลนด์ (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) ได้ และหากคุณอาศัยอยู่ในประเทศไทย คุณติดต่อสำนักงานคณะกรรมการคุ้มครองข้อมูลส่วนบุคคล (สคส. / PDPC) ได้เช่นกัน
7. สำหรับผู้ใหญ่เท่านั้น
Two Horizons สำหรับผู้ที่มีอายุ 18 ปีขึ้นไปเท่านั้น หากเราทราบว่าสมาชิกคนใดอายุต่ำกว่า 18 ปี เราจะลบบัญชีนั้น
8. ความปลอดภัย
การเชื่อมต่อทั้งหมดถูกเข้ารหัส (HTTPS) รหัสผ่านไม่ถูกเก็บเป็นข้อความธรรมดา และมีเพียงผู้ดูแลของเราเท่านั้นที่มีสิทธิ์ผู้ดูแลระบบ ไม่มีระบบใดสมบูรณ์แบบ หากเกิดเหตุข้อมูลรั่วไหลที่อาจเป็นความเสี่ยงต่อคุณ เราจะแจ้งคุณและหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องตามที่กฎหมายกำหนด
9. การเปลี่ยนแปลง
หากเราเปลี่ยนแปลงนโยบายนี้ เราจะอัปเดตวันที่ด้านบน สำหรับการเปลี่ยนแปลงที่สำคัญ เราจะแจ้งสมาชิกในแอปหรือทางอีเมล
